Runs the richest sovereign wealth fund in the world by far. Buoyed by
taxes, ownership and stakes in the state oil and gas industry, it has
reported assets worth about $785 billion. Slyngstad is now actively
reducing its total Euro holdings (currently about 48%) in favor of
emerging markets. The fund has also found a new way to wield its
influence in CSR: an ethical-investment committee which shuns companies engaged in human rights violations or environmental damage.
