Nikkei edges down after GDP, eyes on yen

TOKYO, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average fell 0.7 percent on Monday, pressured down after data showed Japan's economy shrank sharply and the yen rose, leading to slides in Canon Inc and other exporters. But falls were braked by gains in defensive shares such as drugmaker Daiichi Sankyo as investors sought stocks seen as resilient in the face of economic distress. Full Article
