 This is Shinzo Abe's second go as prime minister, begging the question whether or not he is destined to be another in a long line Japanese leaders who can't seem to hold on to their administration for longer than two years. Abe's first term was 2006 to 2007. The right-wing nationalist was reelected in September 2012 and has vowed "It's our first mission is to turn it [the economy] around." Abe campaigned hard to win the right to host to 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, even with concerns about lingering radioactive water leaks from the Fukushima nuclear plant crippled in 2011 after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear accident.
