in Tollywood with 'Manasara' but the film's failure didn't help her much. Though
she starred in Maruthi's Bus Stop, it is proven that none will get attention
when this director is around. And then she shifted to Kollywood where she got
her hands bountiful with almost 7 flicks in the kitty.
Recently rumours surfaced when makers of hero Karthi's latest movie sacked Sridivya. They stated that this young Telugu beauty demanded 50 lakhs as remuneration, shocking her producers. Sridivya is however crying foul that she didn't make such a demand at anytime. 'Someone wants to throw mud on my growing popularity and they are spreading these false rumours. I've never demanded such hefty sums', she said.
It is irony that while Tamil girls like Trisha, Samantha and Regina are making it big here in Tollywood, a Telugu beauty like Sridivya is slowly swimming fast in Tamil waters. Let us hope our hottie becomes a star heroine there.
